And I think you should find some rainbow wings for your next half. ;) I can completely relate tho. I look back at how thin I was and I only wish I could have enjoyed it while I had it but I was still so self critical even then. It is a good reminder that we are our own worst critics, and everybody has struggles regardless of what we see on the outside. My advice is: when you have down days like this use them as a reminder to take care of yourself. You have mastered the tools to physical health, now master the tools to the other side of things. Use those days as a cue to take a hot bath, arrange some time with one of your best friends (ahem), go get that massage that you have been meaning to schedule, make arrangements for the kids and have a snuggle day with the hubby, or by yourself. Do whatever it is that you need to rejuvenate your soul. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life and be selfish for once. Or try. And don't forget to remind me to take my own advice when I have this problem-because it's always easier said than done.
