Yeah, scale, whose yer daddy?!!?!

Finally a good day!! I lost another pound and some odd points, putting me (finally) at a total 14 lb loss. (I can change my ticker!).

Last night I went back to the basics of how I started this journey - 20 minutes of Wii Fit free run, followed by 30 minutes of step. I threw in 50 crunches just for fun, as well. (I'm talking over a period of 20 minutes, not in a row. But hey, it sure didn't hurt).

I know that the Wii is no replacement for the gym. There was a point in time when I did go to the gym regularly so I know that first hand. However, I am making the best out of what my circumstances allow me to do. I make sure to consciously push myself as hard as I can while doing the Wii, and basically it is what I make of it. I have lost 14 pounds using Wii games and exercise videos...I can't wait to see what I can do once we get our treadmill!!

So, one more pound to go for the good ol' FIFTEEN mark. I worked hard on the Wii free run already tonight (throwing in some jump rope and jumping jack intervals while I was at it...Jillian Michaels likes em' therefore I have to, too!). Writing this blog is my opportunity to rest, and then I am going to do 30 minutes step and possibly the crunches again.

I totally think I've got the 15 in the bag by the end of this week.

  2. You are awesome...and inspirational! I need to work out but went to bed by 8:30 last night as I was so tired from my two long work days. The next week is going to be challenging for me :)
